Event Guide: FASHION'S NIGHT OUT TORONTO

Fashion's Night Out has been one of the biggest events in the fashion industry for the past few years - acting as the big lead-up to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in good ol' NYC. The initiative, masterminded by Vogue (who else?!) was created to boost the economy in times of depression. Besides, men get the Superbowl and the NHL Draft Pick...shouldn't women have an all-star event of their own? The event has since taken place everywhere from Los Angeles to Birmingham, Alabama. This year, Canadians finally get to join in with events taking place in Toronto, Chatham, Vancouver, and Montreal. Since I'm a Toronto-centric blogger, I thought that I'd bring you up to speed on all the events taking place in my city!

FNO itself is taking place on Thursday, September 6th, with events occurring from 6 PM to 11 PM all over the city. Two of the hottest areas to hit are Queen Street West and Yorkville.

QUEEN STREET WEST

Join Maybelline New York (@MAYBELLINECAN) and The F-List (@THEFLIST) on the rooftop of the Burroughes Building (639 Queen Street West) for an evening screening of DRESSED, a biographical film of a designer who overcame homelessness and a difficult upbringing and showed a collection at New York Fashion Week. If there's one thing I do know, it's that Maybelline throws a wicked soiree! There'll be complimentary cocktails(!!!) courtesy of Martini and hors d'oeuvres by Taste Culinary. Stay up to date on Twitter by tracking the hashtag #DressedAtDark. Doors open at 6 PM, the film premiers at 9 PM!

While you're in the Burroughes Building, stop by THE BAZAAR with Rac Boutique (@RACBOUTIQUE), along with several other retail tastemakers in the city, such as LAB Consignment (Lauren always has amazing hard-to-find pieces! I've been a fan since she sold me a pair of Marc Jacobs jeans for dirt cheap in my frosh year), Drake General Store, Vocado, Chloe Comme Parris (hot off World Mastercard Fashion Week), 69 Vintage, and countless others! If you're in the market for a one-of-a-kind piece that'll take you from season to season, kitschy knick-knacks, or maybe even a vintage cult bag, this is definitely a one-stop-shop that you should hit up!

If hair is more your thing, head down to Civello (@CIVELLOSALON) at 269 Queen Street West (my former salon of choice!) for some food and bevvies, complimentary bang trims, Aveda treatments, and a bit of shopping! This event goes all evening long, so you can pop in and still have time to party hop.

One of my favourite aestheticians in the city, Fuzz Wax Bar (@FUZZWAXBAR), located at 701 Queen Street West, is also throwing a bash! There'll be complimentary champagne (need I say more?!) while you shop, a free brow wax with the purchase of any of their products, and a trunk show by Stella And Dot!

YORKVILLE

In the mood for a full-out Girl's Night Out? Pencil in a trip to the Mastercard Stylcity Lounge in Hazelton Lanes (87 Avenue Road). The event will feature complimentary styling and make-up applications to prep for your mini photoshoot! Mix and mingle with the hottest Toronto stylist, enjoy some cocktails and hors d'oeuvres (all complimentary, natch), and visit the lovely ladies of The Peacock Parade (@PEACOCKPARADE) for an exclusive sale featuring some FNO merch!

The Toronto Fashion Incubator (@TORONTOFASHION), TNT, and Fashion Cares will be hosting a fete at the same venue featuring men and women's apparel and accessories on sale, as well as a chance to win tickets to this year's Fashion Cares benefit on September 9th!

Where would Toronto fashion be without Holt's? Stop by the Holt Renfrew (@HOLTRENFREW) flagship on 50 Bloor Street West for the chicest block party Toronto has ever seen. The party, in celebration of the luxe department store's 175th anniversary, will take place from 7 to 10 PM. Pop into the store for a fashion show featuring hologram models, their pop-up shop debut, extended shopping hours (store closes at 11 PM), and to take a peek at their magenta anniversary collection!

There are also several retail events (including a fashion show and some prizes) at The Eaton Centre and Yorkdale Shopping Center for all you mall-rats! ;)

Want to prepare ahead of time for the event? The Peacock Parade currently has Toronto Fashion's Night merch on sale here! Be sure to sign up!

I'm Back!

(A recent photo of me. I just had my hair cut!)

I've received a few messages from other bloggers lately asking, well, where I've been! I feel like I owe you all a bit of an explanation!

I started this blog when I was in the eleventh grade, which feels like a lifetime ago. I've changed so much...I'm older, working in the fashion industry, and to be honest, have a very different outlook on the fashion industry now that I've experienced it firsthand. This outlook is still very positive! What you can expect is a blog focused on lifestyle in general rather than fashion as a sole entity. For an example, you'll find more product reviews, things that I've seen/would like to see in Toronto, some advice on finding a job in fashion (not that I'm an expert, but I'd love to share what I've learned!), and much more.

As a bit of an update, I thought I'd let you all know what I'm up to! I spent a great deal of time as a social media coordinator for a luxury flash sale site which was an AMAZING opportunity. This position taught me how important it is for a business to be active on social media and create/maintain relationships with their clients. For the past few months, I have been working at a lifestyle/fashion Public Relations in Toronto which has been so much fun and so beneficial to me!

I've spent the last little while working diligently which has left me with little spare time. The free time that I do have is usually occupied by friends and family! It's become a goal of mine to take this blog off of the back-burner and focus more on something that I really love...writing!

Anyways, I do hope to hear from all of you again. Let's follow each other on Twitter if we're not doing so already! You can expect some new blog posts in the next few days!

Sincerely,
Jessica.

Five Minutes With...Ching-Yun of The Shopaholic 24/7

I recently had the opportunity to interview Ching-Yun of The Shopaholic 24/7. We chatted about her love of Paris, her caution towards approaching head-to-toe prints, and what being a "frugalista" really entails!

What inspired you to start blogging?
I wanted to create a space where I could share my personal style, DIY projects, bargain buys & shopping hauls with fellow bloggers, friends, and other fashionistas. After college graduation, I began to miss sharing these kinds of things with my old college roommates and girlfriends, so I started The Shopaholic {24/7} to help me fill that void. Even if I help to inspire 1 person to wear something different and step out of his/her comfort zone, then I truly believe my efforts would have all been worth it!

What is the fashion scene like where you live?
In all honesty, the street fashion in San Diego is very predictable. I see a lot of casual, comfortable clothing, especially when the weather is warmer (aka 8-9 months in the year, ha). It is popular to see Ugg boots, Rainbow sandals, and Toms shoes on girls here, almost always paired with skinny jeans or shorts and a tank top or dolman. In California, I am more inspired by the street styles found in San Francisco and Los Angeles, although, oddly enough, Irvine, where I lived for a few years, was recently named the most fashionable city in the U.S. I would like to think that I contributed to that. TOTALLY KIDDING. Please keep reading.

Where do you buy the majority of your clothes and why?
This is a hard question, because my closet is so diverse in terms of the variety of labels, but I can definitely say that I buy most of my clothes at fast fashion boutiques and outlet stores. Whenever I spot a trend I like, I always strive to find it for less. I’m a total frugalista with clothes and accessories, but I tend to splurge on purses and shoes! However, looking back on my OOTDs, I’d have to go with Forever 21 because I’m still on a journey to find my signature style, so in the meantime, I like to try new trends and get sick of wearing one thing too many times. Therefore, shops like F21 allow me to explore fashions, be fickle, while simultaneously staying within my budget! Win and win, right?

What are some of your favourite fashion blogs and why?
I have way too many, but I am particularly fond of Wendy’s Lookbook and ExtraPetite because they are both young, petite women who show other petite women how to dress for their size and inspire us to find fashion that fits, which helps us feel more confident. Other fashion blogs I read include: 9 to 5 Chic, Life Ann Style, Fash Boulevard, Atlantic Pacific, and Haute Pink Pretty.

Which Spring/Summer 2012 trends are you excited to try? Which trends would you never be caught dead in?
I’m excited to start incorporating some more color into my outfits, especially some neon pinks and yellows, as well as a crisp, mint green. I used to never want to be caught dead in crochet, but now I’m not so sure! One trend I KNOW I can’t pull off, and really don’t want to make an attempt to, has got to be head-to-toe prints. Eek!

What do you think that your next big purchases will be?
I love how this question insinuates more than one with the plural “purchases!” I have been lusting after a pair of classic CC Chanel earrings for longer than I even care to remember, so that will definitely be a huge ticket item for me. As for any more, more likely than not I will be splurging for a few items for my parents as both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are right around the corner!

What advice would you offer to an aspiring style blogging?

This is a funny question, as I also consider myself an aspiring style blogger, since I opened my Blogspot account in January 2012, but I would say, blog about all the things that make you, you. It sounds simple and perhaps even as a trite expression, but staying true to yourself, your style, your culture, and background is so important. Don’t let any negative comments, affiliates or advertising companies change you or your style. Keep yourself intact and show us who you are and what your sartorial philosophy is, girl (or guy)!
Pick One:

New York City or Paris?
I have been fortunate enough to visit both of these cities, and although they are each inspiring and unique in their own respective ways, my heart definitely belongs to Paris, Paris, Paris! Paris is where I studied abroad for a semester in college, and ever since then, I haven’t been the same person. It’s corny, but it’s true! I fell in love, a head over heels kind of love. I had never experienced anything like it, even though I had been to Paris twice before. I fell in love with fromage in a freshly baked baguette, the Louis Vuitton flagship store on les Champs-Elysees, the night views from the Seine, les Jardins des Tuileries, Monet’s paintings, macarons & crepes, the French language, vintage finds in the Marais, and of course, French fashion. I went to Paris as a 19 year old girl who knew what she liked, but left as an independent young woman who learned a lot more about what she loved, both in and out of her personal style. Lastly, Paris holds a special place in my heart, because that’s where I began dating my current boyfriend of 4 years. Paris, je t’aime!

Karl Lagerfeld or Marc Jacobs?
Since I’m such a lover of all things French, including fashion, I will have to say Karl (closest to my fave, who is of course, Madame Coco).

Heels or Flats?
Heels, no matter what I’m doing or where I’m going (except to the gym)! In Emma’s words (Monte Carlo film), “If they ain't hurtin' , they ain't workin'!”

Gossip Girl or Sex and the City?
Gossip Girl! In fact, I set aside time every Monday night to watch it, regardless of how busy I am! I simply love this show and all the fashionable and beautiful people on it. And yes, I’m mainly referring to Chuck Bass.

The Wait Is Over: Raf Simons Is In At Dior

(From top: Galliano's couture designs for Dior, Bill Gaytten's couture designs for Dior, Raf Simons' ready-to-wear designs for Jil Sander)

The rumors have been raging for a year now on who would be the lucky designer to replace John Galliano following his anti-Semitic outbursts/general nervous breakdown. Would it be Marc Jacobs, current director of his namesake lines and Louis Vuitton? Or the relatively new designer, Alexander Wang, known for his sporty street wear? The speculation was finally laid to rest yesterday when Raf Simons, former creative director of Jil Sander, was named Galliano's replacement.

While Raf is an undeniably talented designer, I can't help but question if he is the right fit for the House of Dior. Dior is all about world-renowned couture, flouncy fabrics, femininity, and a sense of Parisian-fueled whimsy. Raf is well-known for his minimalistic sartorial flare and clean lines, targeted towards the no-nonsense working New Yorker. However, it should be noted that the Fall/Winter 2012 collection for Jil Sander (his last) was significantly more feminine than his prior collections.

Raf's inexperience as a couturier is also nerve-wracking. Galliano was a noted couturier, and a talented one at that. Bill Gaytten, who quickly seized the reigns of head designer following Galliano's dismissal, had worked for Dior's atelier for years. Both Raf's namesake line and Jil Sander are relatively casual ready-to-wear lines. Although they are obviously stunning, they simply do require the attention to detail and sheer skill that it takes to design even one piece of couture. Of course, we can't judge Raf before he even shows a collection, so we'll just have to wait until the S/S 2013 season to formulate an opinion!

Do you think that Raf is a good fit for Dior? If not, which designer did you hope would be named creative director?

Kony 2012: What You Should Know About Invisible Children

Before you read this (rather unorganized) rant, please note that I am all for stopping the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA for short) and their crusade against Uganda. This is not meant to discourage the support of relief and aid in Uganda, but to shine light on a murky issue.

Over the course of the past 25 years, approximately 66, 000 Ugandan children have been kidnapped and/or forced into unpaid guerilla military service or a sex trade. Invisible Children recently produced the film Kony 2012, a documentary which brings this issue into light. The video has since gone viral on the internet and has since been posted on numerous blogs, websites, and social media accounts.

Within this post are a few things that you should know about Invisible Children before:

-Giving them your support
-Encouraging others to lend their support
-Giving them your money

Please take the facts and figures listed below into consideration:

1. Invisible Children is notorious for misusing their collective donations and profit/expense 70% of what they claim to be going towards relief and aid overseas. Here is a breakdown of where their donations from 2011 were sent off to:

8.9 million USD was sent to Invisible Children that year. Out of that sum,

-$1.7 million went towards paying their small roster of employees
-$357,000 went towards their filming costs
-$850,000 went towards their production costs
-$751,000 was spent on computer equipment
-$244,000 was spent on “professional services” (DC lobbyists)
-$1.7 million was spent on travel expenses for the employees
-$400,000 was spent on an office rental in San Diego, California
-$16,000 was spent on entertainment for employees

That means that only 2.8 million, or 30% of their annual profit, was actually sent to Uganda. Before the money can be used to fund relief, their Ugandan associates and important figures will first deduct their salaries and expenses from the latter figures. Let’s say that these associates take 10% of the 2.8 million left over. That means that only 20% of Invisible Children’s donations are actually funding relief and aid. Well, it’s nice to know that they get a kushy office, a great salary, and an aesthetically appealing video at the end of the day.

Invisible Children has refused to be audited or cooperate with the Better Business Bureau, who ensure that companies are running smoothly and ethically.

I understand that funds are required to produce campaigns, specially larger ones. But couldn't the employees take a lesser salary if they were really so focused on the issue at hand? Couldn't they have made a lower-budget film that still exposed what is happening overseas, without all of the bells and whistles?

2. Invisible Children began filming Kony 2012 in 2003. That was eight(!!!) years ago! Joseph Kony has been relatively inactive in Uganda since 2006, meaning that six years have passed since his peak. Invisible Children is leading several gullible people to believe that Joseph Kony’s tyranny and reign of terror is at its height now, when it’s most certainly not.

Perhaps the "2012" keyword is in relation to the upcoming United States presidential election and that Invisible Children is working to put this cause on the president's agenda. Still, the fact that the footage is quite dated (and not properly labelled as being old) is misleading.

3. Invisible Children has presented an entirely black-and-white argument that features the classic good guy/bad guy fairytale storyline. The LRA and the crisis in Uganda will take more than just arresting Joseph Kony to cease. This is proved by the fact that he could be easily replaced by one of several who support and exercise his beliefs, which they have already begun to do due to his inactivity. The fact that their goal is to make Kony “famous” is appalling. Organizations should raise awareness on an issue as a whole, rather than instilling celebrity status into one leader, out of several people who are responsible for the LRA.

4. The title lacks context. These children are VISIBLE, and have been to several people throughout the years. They’ve been visible to those who live or have travelled to Uganda and have experienced their experiences first-hand. The Concerned Parents Association has been backing this cause since the 1990s, long before Invisible Children was even up and running. Numerous charities, such as the Concerned Child and Youth Association, have been backing this cause long before the Kony 2012 film, proving that their claim of invisibilty is inaccurate.

5. This film works to pull at our heartstrings and instill a White Saviour complex in all of us. The film depicts Ugandans of being weak, helpless victims with a severe lack of agency or sense of empowerment. We see Jason Russell, the CEO of Invisible Children, taking a paternal role in the matter of Uganda and using several phrases of self-empowerment rather than empowering Ugandans, such as “I will do anything to stop Kony”. We then see Russell’s son saying that his dad “stops bad guys for a living”. It’s beyond obvious that Russell himself has not negotiated with the LRA or the Ugandan army. Several other documentaries focused on the exact same issues as this put the Ugandans in an empowering role versus victimizing them for shock factor.

Some parts of the film are just downright insensitive. For an example, Russell and his team’s condescending captions of people speaking perfectly audible English is insulting to those who had the courage to be filmed.

6. Invisible Children is notorious for manipulating, falsifying, and fabricating facts and figures in order to prove the overall effectiveness of their campaigns. Therefore, it is unclear as to which facts in this video are completely accurate and which are meant to tug at our wallets.

Hopefully that’s enough to convince you that Invisible Children is an unethical company clearly seeking out infamy and a better pay. The issue at hand is still important, so here is a redirection to much more legitimate organizations who advocate the same cause: Concerned Children and Youth Association, Concerned Parents Association,War Child, Art For Children, Friends Of Orphans, Children Chance International.

The Fashionpocalypse Is Nigh: Slimane at YSL, Simons At Dior?

Unless you've been living under a rock this week, you'll have noticed that the fashion industry's equivalent of the Resurrection of Christ has occurred. In other words, Hedi Slimane is slated to be in at Yves. St. Laurent while Raf Simons is leaving Jil Sander (for Dior???) and is being replaced by Jil Sander. In. The. Flesh.

Slimane, who was previously the creative director of YSL from 1996 to 2011, is best known for his work as the creative director of Dior Homme. There, he revolutionized the silhouette of the men's suit with skinnier, sleeker tailoring. He even (sigh) claimed that he is the inventor of skinny jeans. While that tidbit is questionable, there is no doubt that he'll do wonderful things at Yves St. Laurent (again).

While I am unbelievably stoked that this is (or may be) actually happening, I am a tad sad to see Stefano Pilati go. His 1940s, Ingrid Bergman circa Casablanca-esque collections have been stunning season to season over the past few years. I hope that he moves onto another fashion house where he can continue to flex his creative muscles.

While the news with Slimane is not 100% official, industry heavyweights such as Women's Wear Daily and AFP are reporting that both parties have already signed a contract, so it's bankable. *

As if that wasn't mind-blowing enough as is, Raf Simons has confirmed that he has left Jil Sander, where he has been employed since 2005. This leaves the possibility of Simons heading to Dior to replace Galliano open. Women's Wear Daily and other credible sources listed Simons as a contender for the spot of Dior's creative director along with Marc Jacobs and Haider Ackermann. Now that both Jacobs and Ackermann have confirmed that they will stay with their present labels, will Simons finally end all of the disquieting rumours within the industry?

Photo Diary: Israel 2011

I got back from my trip Israel a few weeks ago and I must say...what an experience! Our activities varied from camping in the Negev desert to clubbing in Tel Aviv to to hiking the Golan Heights and Masada to browsing Kabbalah art galleries in Tzfat. Of course, I rode a camel and floated in the Dead Sea! I went through the hundreds of photos that I tooked and selected the ones that I thought best reflected the trip and that would interest you all the most!

Tel Aviv as seen from Jaffa

Buildings in Old Jaffa

A Baha'i temple in Haifa

Grottos in the Mediterranean Sea in Rosh Hanikra

Art in Tzfat

The Golan Heights, which make for super nauseating bus rides!

Jerusalem

Me in the Old City of Jerusalem

The Wailing Wall. My wish backfired on me as soon as I got home!

I'm also guestblogging over at Meinto for the month of February. My first post (which went up this past Friday) consisted of an introductory interview that I really enjoyed! You can see the full interview on the Meinto website here. I'll be posting there every Friday for the rest of the month!

Product Review: HANA air Hair Dryer

My results, achieved with the HANA Air, a Goody ceramic round brush, Alba blow dry prep lotion, MoroccanOil Glimmer Shine Spray, and Aveda Brilliant Medium Hold hair spray!

A few weeks ago, I was sent the HANA air Hair Dryer, which I am inexplicably happy with. Several critics have deemed it to be the "Louis Vuitton of hair dryers", and I must say that I agree! It's sleek design, 2300 watt power (incomparable to other popular hair dryers on the market), tourlamine crystals, and ceramic heater all go to present you with fabulous hair!

I must admit that I'm a little stingy when it comes to hair tools and products. I tend to just go for whatever is on sale, regardless of the review. While this hair dryer is a little pricier than most that you'll find at standard salons and drug stores (194.99 online), it is definitely in a whole other league of its own. My hair has never been this shiny or smooth!

What I liked about it:

-Long power cord (easy to multitask/walk around or use a far-away outlet)
-Good, solid weight (easy to hold)
-Sleek design
-Balance of cold and warm air, which reduces frizz
-Dry time cut in about 2/3 of what it would take with a standard on-the-market hair dryer

What Confused Me:

Perhaps I'm just a little "slow", but it took me a while to figure out that the button that would normally be a cool air blast on another hair dryer creates high heat! Hah!

Thank you to much to brian and the others at Misikko. They also sent me Paul Mitchell shampoo, Bobbi Brown travel brushes (perfect for my trip!), a to-die-for eyelash curler, a towel turban, a super cute stuffed animal, some nail tools, and some travel cases! It definitely made my week!

Misikko Products I'd also recommend: This curling iron and this CHI hair dryer.

WHY I'VE BEEN ABSENT....

There have been sooooo many things going on in my life as of late. Unfortunately, they've kind of took priority over my blog. And they are as follows:

1) Exams. Enough said on that front, I guess!

2) School in general! After being severely unhappy for two years in my non-fashion oriented program at Ryerson, I've decided to take a new path and apply for a fashion-related degree. After all, why do something that you're NOT passionate about?

3) I started a new internship at The Peacock Parade, an e-commerce clothing store here in Toronto. I won't go into too much detail about that, but I must say that I am enjoying it!

4) Tomorrow morning, I am going to Israel for two weeks! So excited. My itinerary is jam-packed with activities such as camel riding, camping with Bedouin men in the Judean desert, hiking the Masada, shopping and exploring in Tel Aviv, visiting the Halocaust museum, and so many other amazing opportunities. I will return on the 29th with lots of photos to share!

Now that the New Year is approaching, I intend to get back into the blogging saddle and bring Marvelous Things back to how it used to be!

Kim Kardashian: Inspirational Mogul or Shameless Fame Addict?

Before I get started, I'm going to make my stance on the topic clear: I think that Kim Kardashian and the rest of her clan are nothing but a group of fake, greedy, and generally unintelligent people as they clearly don't do any prior research on the products they're creating and endorsing. None of them have a talented bone in their body and in no way deserve this godforsaken media attention surrounding them.

My distaste for the Kardashians has been long-term. Although my distaste grew even more sour when I saw Kim on the cover of Marie Claire, along with the blurb:

"Kim Kardashian reveals what went on in her crazy marriage."

The $10 million wedding, which garnered an estimated $20 million in profit from selling the rights of wedding photos and a live taping was regarded as "America's Royal Wedding". Kim's "union" to Kris Humphries ended a short 72 days following the ceremony. It is completely blatant that the marriage was nothing short of a publicity stunt used to rake in a hefty sum of profit. This is where things start to get sketchy.

For one, Kim promised that the lump sum of her wedding gifts would be donated to charity, yet, rumoredly, not a penny has been donated.

This divorce also happened around the same time that the Kardashians planned to launch their handbag collection, during the launch of Kris Jenner's book, and just before the launch of Kim's fictional novel Dollhouse. Puzzling, isn't it?

Marie Claire has been one of my favorite magazines for a very, very long time. The fashion-forward pieces Nina Garcia curates combined with several articles empowering talented and successful women worldwide (even survivors of genocide, abuse, etc.) is really a force to be reckoned with. So why is someone like Kim Kardashian on the cover?

To sell copies, naturally!

What really irked me is how they placed Kim on this sort of pedestal - not once doubting the validity of her marriage and moulding her into an independent, brutally honest, savvy mogul.

What's even worse is how they conducted the interview.

Kim was interviewed by Marie Claire around the same time the cover shoot/editorial took place, which was long before the wedding. In this interview, however; Kim is reflecting on the union after it had ended, which means that Marie Claire reworked the interview reportedly hours before it went to press. It was reported that Kim had called Marie Claire before the gossip rags knew about the divorce and asked them to edit the interview. This is surely the exact thing that someone that was going through a rough time such as this would do, right? Not exactly.

Luckily, the world is finally putting down their cup of Kardashian Kool-Aid, leaving their house of cards to fall. Fashionista posted a fantastic article exposing all of the products and services that the Kardashians endorsed that turned out to be either ripped off or just a big ol' sham. It's quite the read.

It genuinely upsets me how people like Kim Kardashian have so much power and influence over not only the fashion world, but the world itself. I feel sick when I think of the people who idolize her, thinking that she is truly an inspiration. Especially when there are so many businesswomen in the world who are actually making a difference and creating an empire that is all their own, with no fine print or sketchy details.

Now I know that this article doesn't have much of a point to it, I just deemed it an important issue to recognize that all of these psuedo-celebrities should not be idealized and idolized to the vicious extent that they are now.

I'm curious (and there will be no judgment here, I promise!): Do you watch the show? Have you ever purchased a Kardashian endorsed product? Do you believe that Kim and the rest of the Kardashians are true business people? Do you believe that they are and should be considered role models?
